When the new eat-drink-play spot Bowlero opens in Lone Tree next week, Demaryius Thomas of the Denver Broncos will headline the event. Formerly Brunswick Zone XL, the venue is located at 9255 Kimmer Drive and the 60,196-square-foot space went through serious renovations recently.

Bowlero describes itself as "a high-end, award-winning concept that puts a retro-modern spin on classic bowling fun." Guests will find 48 lanes of electro-cool bowling, a new all-star bar showcasing a selection of specialty cocktails and a state-of-the-art 60-game arcade including laser tag and an upgraded A/V system that includes massive laneside video walls and state-of-the-art sound. Food and drinks are curated by executive chef Edward Porter, winner of Food Network’s Grocery Store Games.

The opening party will take place on Saturday, October 22 from 12 to 3 p.m. It is a family-friendly, fun filled afternoon with free bowling, arcade play, giveaways and more. All guests will receive a complimentary game of bowling, shoe rental and a $5 arcade card.
