Chula Vista bowling alley Brunswick Zone has been transformed into another location of Bowlero, a sleek spin on an all-in-one entertainment venue that first opened in the area last fall in San Marcos. The freshly-renovated space includes 48 black light bowling lanes with music videos and classic family movies screened on high-definition video walls. Newly added are two sports bar outfitted with giant flat-screen TVs and the arcade has been upgraded with billiards and an array of games.

Known for its over-the-top eats which are designed for sharing, the food and drink menu includes the Supreme French Fry Sampler, the colossal Party Pretzel, a 2-foot long hot dog known as the Chi Town Mega Dog and the Dunk Tank, a 123-ounce fishbowl-sized cocktail. The Chula Vista Bowlero grand opens on Saturday, February 24 with an event running from noon to 4 p.m. that will include free bowling and game play plus giveways and the chance to meet and bowl with former San Diego Charger Shawne “LightsOut” Merriman.
