Quarterfinals Begin Today in First-Ever PBA Bowlero Global Rumble powered by Lanetalk

Over 4,000 bowlers advance to stage two in tournament

New York, NY – Qualifying for the first-ever PBA Bowlero Global Rumble powered by Lanetalk has ended with over 4,000 bowlers advancing to the quarterfinals for a chance to win the $10K first-place grand prize. The second round of competition begins today at participating Bowlero Corp locations and international centers equipped with Lanetalk.

“The response to the PBA Bowlero Global Rumble powered by Lanetalk has been exciting to see,” said Lev Ekster, Chief Strategy Officer and COO of the PBA. “We’ve had over 5,000 participants enter across 20 countries, bowling over 30,000 games. Collectively, they bowled more than 15,000 hours.”

Now entering the second stage of competition, the remaining bowlers across six conferences will have two weeks to bowl their best two games for a chance to advance to the semi-finals. The top 40 bowlers in each conference will move on.

Another incentive? Each bowler who submits the most attempts per conference during the quarterfinals will receive a swag package from Motiv including a Black Disk Shammy, FLEX Tape Sample Pack, and Motiv Stickers.

KR Strikeforce will also be surprising three competitors in each United States conference with a custom PBA Bowlero Global Rumble bowling pin. Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the quarterfinals.

The PBA Bowlero Global Rumble tournament is hosted on the Lanetalk app, featuring four stages of competition within six conferences in the United States and internationally until one champion is crowned for a true global Rumble competition.

There are three stages left of competition.

Stage 2: Quarterfinals (March 23-April 5)

The remaining bowlers will have two weeks during the quarterfinals to bowl their two best consecutive games. Lanetalk will take their best two scores as tournament submission. The top 40 bowlers in each USA and international conference will advance to the semi-finals. In the instance if two or more bowlers have the same score, a one-game roll-match will be played prior to the semi-finals.

Stage 3: Semi-Finals (April 7-April 13)

The remaining 240 bowlers will have one week and one attempt to submit their two best consecutive scores. The top two bowlers from each USA and international conference will advance to the Grand Finale.

Stage 4: Grand Finale (April 17)

The remaining 12 bowlers will all bowl two consecutive games at the same time simultaneously from their home center. Time to be announced at a later date. The bowler with the highest score will be crowed the first-ever PBA Bowlero Global Rumble Champion and win $10K.
